Hollywood can be a cruel, cruel world to live in, especially if you’re a woman. As a woman ages in a place like Hollywood, she begins to feel more and more pressure to do things that will make her look younger and more attractive. Some women refuse to give in to that pressure, choosing to age with grace and style, accepting wrinkles and other perceived imperfections as part of life. Others choose to go under the knife. I have no problem with that, in all honesty. There are some celebrities who have had a little work done but have managed to do it the right way. They’ve had a little work on their nose, their breasts, their eyes or their lips but it isn’t obvious work. Good plastic surgery should still look natural. People shouldn’t be able to glance at you and tell you’ve had something done. This article isn’t just about bad plastic surgery though. This article is about the worst plastic surgery in Hollywood history. From botched boob jobs to far too many procedures the celebrities on this list have wound up looking worse (and likely feeling worse) than they did when they went under the knife. Men can wind up on worst plastic surgery lists too. Just ask the man on our list. Now, before we dive in, I want to take a moment to quickly talk about the photos. All of the photos in this article have been found on various websites and are credited to the website where they were found. I tried to find before and after pictures that had been unaltered but in some cases, I could only find studio shots that have likely been retouched. Just remember, before studio shots should be taken with a grain of salt as they’re taken after the celebrity has been worked on by hair and makeup teams and are then retouched before they make it to publication. Tara Reid’s Boob Job and Liposuction
I loved Tara Reid back in the American Pie/Josie and the Pussycat days but since then, she’s almost become a parody of herself. She was a beautiful, talented actress but a few bad cosmetic surgery procedures have made it so she’s far more well known for having some of the worst plastic surgery in Hollywood than for anything she’s done in her career. The worst part of it all could be that she doesn’t really seem to have had that much work done. The issue is that what she has had done is absolutely terrible. The lumpy lipo and the terrible boob job are Tara’s biggest claims to fame now.

Priscilla Presley’s Face Lift
Priscilla Presley was one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood for a very long time. She had class, grace and poise not often seen in women of her generation. Then something happened. She started going under the knife to turn back the hands of time and the result hasn’t been good. While it’s easy to say she underwent to much surgery, it’s entirely possible she just went to the wrong surgeon. Some of the procedures she’s had don’t appear to have been done all that well. Whether it’s too much surgery or a little bad surgery, Priscilla Presley definitely has some of the worst plastic surgery in Hollywood.

Lil Kim’s Cheek Implants
I always thought Lil Kim was an absolute knockout, not to mention talented. I can’t for the life of me understand why she would choose to have plastic surgery – at least not as much plastic surgery as she had. She looks nothing like the girl she once was. She barely even looks human any more. I’m not even sure I can pick out one place she went wrong. She just looks a mess now. Perhaps the pressure to stay young and beautiful to stay current got to her but regardless of the reason, my heart still breaks a little when I look at that after picture.

Kenny Rogers’ Eye Lift
Here’s a confession. As a young girl, I thought Kenny Rogers was the most beautiful man in the world – a little disturbing considering I’m only 30 now so Kenny was very much white haired and bearded even back then – and I eagerly told my mother and anyone else willing to listen that I would marry him one day. He was my first real celebrity crush and that crush remained well into my twenties although perhaps not as strong as it once was. When I heard he would be appearing on American Idol for country week, I was thrilled! Then I saw him. My beautiful dream man had gone and tried to fix something that wasn’t broken – his pretty face. That rugged masculinity that I found so appealing was gone and I missed it terribly. So too did Kenny, apparently. He’s spoken numerous times about how much he hates the new look. Clearly, even by his own admission, Kenny Roger’s eye lift belongs on this list of the worst plastic surgery in Hollywood.

Joan Van Ark
I really hate putting Joan Van Ark on this list because I honestly think there are more than enough people out there giving her a hard time for her bad costmetic surgery decisions but this list is about the worst plastic surgery in Hollywood so I really had to include her. Joan was a beautiful woman before she went under the knife but the former Knots Landing beauty decided to go under the knife anyway. That decision was probably influenced by the fact that she was getting older which can often mean less roles for an actress. Regardless of the why, Joan went under the knife and the result was not good by any means. I feel for her. She looks nothing like she used to and instead looks barely human.

Donatella Versace’s Lip Injections
Donatella Versace is certainly a talented woman. She is also slowly working on looking absolutely nothing like a human being. Her over tanned skin, beyond plumped up lips and various other plastic surgery nightmares have left her looking more like a cartoon than an actual human being. I have to wonder how much of her decision was made based on the criticism she often used to get for her looks before she underwent her first cosmetic procedures. People used to say she looked too masculine. Perhaps playing up her breasts and enhancing her lips was her way of trying to appear more feminine. If that’s the case, it’s a shame. She may not have fit into everyone’s definition of beautiful before but she did have a lot going for her in the looks department. I’m not sure the same can be said now.

Amanda Lepore’s … just name it.
Here’s the thing – Amanda Lepore was absolutely beautiful. Yes she had a very dramatic, over the top look but there was real beauty there. That beauty has been taken away one unnecessary cosmetic procedure after another. Look at the before picture and then look at the after picture. it’s nothing short of disturbing. Definitely the tale of one surgery (or a dozen surgeries) too many.
